When an application has been accepted, the project is assigned to one of our Regional Project Managers. They will scope the project, agreeing clear objectives, timescales and charity resources to support the project.

Journey 2 Excellence (J2E) Self-Assessment
Journey 2 Excellence (J2E) is a self-assessment tool that is completed by charities at the start and send of a project. It helps us measure meaningful outcomes for the charities we work with. It is sent to charities by the relevant project manager.

Volunteer Time Card
To help us know approximately how many hours of support you have provided to a charity, we ask that all volunteer consultants keep a record of the time they have put in supporting a charity on a project. This provides useful information for our funders and partner organisations.

Volunteer Expenses
From the charity
As a volunteer consultant, you are able to claim basic expenses such as travel expenses directly from the charity you are working with. Charities agree to this when they sign off the project brief at the start of the project, you should confirm this with the client charity at the start of the project.
From Cranfield Trust
In the event that you're doing work directly for Cranfield Trust, expenses should be agreed and claimed using a Cranfield Trust expenses claim form, which you can download below.
Project Manager Contact Details
At the start of a project you will be introduced to your project manager and given their contact details. If you have any project related questions, please contact them directly.
